There was something forever mesmerising about Petz for me. Somewhere between the Furby-esque eyeballs, the quirky sound effects and their cottonball exteriors lay something truly heartwarming.
This page serves as a shrine to my love of this series, complete with mods.
Catz and Dogz
Catz and Dogz are virtual Petz that live on your computer. Catz and Dogz scamper across your desktop, play in their home Playscenes, travel and explore faraway Playscenes, and frolic in Playscenes that you make especially for them. Breed them, play with them, feed them, and love them! You can adopt as many Catz or Dogz as you want – as long as you take care of them all!.
Oddballz
Oddballz is a virtual pet game created by PF Magic in 1996 as a wacky alternative to their Dogz and Catz titles. The 13 official breedz include Honker, Quadrapus, Norvil, Zott, Jester, Snowbo, Walret, Dynaroo, Modvark, Lips, Skorch, 102 and Grinnz.
Babyz
Honestly the Babyz part of the series always terrified me and I didn't play it much. It did have its own quirks though like voice recognition, and language learning.
Babyz are virtual bundles of joy that live in a virtual house on your computer. Like real babies, these virtual Babyz have feelings, personalities, and minds of their own. You get to discover just how unique your individual Babyz are!
