Depicts the English alphabet letters A-Z formed from the shapes of letter-winged kites.

The letter-winged kite (Elanus scriptus) is an Australian bird that is the ONLY nocturnal kite (Accipitripformes). I wanted to create a typeface based on this beautiful Rorschach test-like animal. Though a digital print, the streaks through the solid black are all the work of the printer, creating a synergy between the digital and the physical.
